Other Fabrication

It’s not just trailer tow hitches that we can make. At WMI, we are able to assist our customers with a variety of fabrication. This includes structural steel fabrication, stock crate fabrication, and custom trailer fabrication. Like all of the products we create at WMI, we aim to create quality fabricated machinery that is built to withstand harsh farm conditions, and will serve our clients well. Get in touch with if you would like to discuss any of the above fabrication project that you are planning and would like assistance with.

Other Products We Manufacture

While we offer fabrication services to those who require them, at WMI we primarily manufacture bale feeders. The four different brands of bale feeder we make and distribute are as follows:

The Pa-Mick is 2.5 metres wide, 4.9 metres long, 1.95 metres high, and it weighs 1.2 tonnes. This brand is a hay and silage feeder, which can carry up to two bales at a time, one of each type (round or square), and in any order. For more information about the Pa-Mick, check out our page here!

The Alybone’s width is 2.5 metres, its length 8.1 metres, height 2.25 metres, and it weighs 2.1 tonnes. This machine is a multi-bale feeder, capable of handling both round and square bales of hay. For more information on the Albybone, check out our page here!

The Elite is a round bale feeder capable of carrying up to two bales at a time. It feeds out hay and silage, and can handle large round bales. The Elite feeder is 2.3 metres wide, 4.6 metres long, 1.2 metres high, and weighs 960 kilograms. For more information on the Elite, check out our page here!

This round bale feeder can carry up to six bales (for the 6-bale model), and feeds out hay and silage. We have two varieties of this model available, but smaller machines can also be custom built if needed. The 6-bale model is 2.3 metres wide, 9.7 metres long, 1.5 metres high, and weighs 2.12 tonnes, while the 4-bale model is 2.3 metres wide, 6.9 metres long, 1.5 metres high, and weighs between 1.8 and 1.9 tonnes. Who We Are

WMI is a family-run company, based in Warrnambool, Victoria. All of our products are Australian-made, and we are proud of our commitment to quality (and the fact that a large amount of our sales come through word of mouth). We use simple designs, ensure quality welding, and our products are built tough to withstand harsh Aussie farm conditions.

WMI began in April 2009 when Jason Willie and his father Wayne took over Carroll’s Manufacturing Industries. Jason had previously completed his apprenticeship in engineering and fabrication with Carroll’s, where he was heavily involved in the design and manufacturing of the Pa-Mick and Albybone bale feeders, along with other farm machinery. In May 2010, WMI released the Elite round bale feeder, followed by the Champion multi bale feeder in February 2012.

When we began, WMI primarily dealt machinery in Victoria. We have since been able to expand, and now supply our products to dealers in South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, and Tasmania.

We pride ourselves on the strength and toughness of our products. A testament to the quality of our machinery is that the first machine ever made is still going well 17 years since its creation!

If you are interested in our tractor tow hitch fabrication, any of our other fabrication services, or our bale feeders, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us! We are always happy and excited to talk to our clients about their fabrication ideas, and how we can work to bring them to life.
