Our cattle feeders

WMI manufacture and stock four different feeders that are suitable for a range of animals, including cattle. Our feeders each have high ground clearance and a strong, robust design, making them perfect for tough Aussie conditions. Our feeders are as follows:

The Champion

Featuring user-friendly maintenance and rippers that travel over the top of the chassis to reduce component damage, the Champion is a round bale feeder capable of carrying up to six bales at a time. This machine has a versatile loading system with collapsible forks for safety, and a simple chain adjustment. The Champion feeds out hay or silage, and has an independent tandem rocker system. As standard, it is 2.3 metres wide, 6.9 metres long, 1.5 metres high and weighs 1.8 to 1.9 tonnes, however we can also make smaller machines for those in the market.

The Elite

The Elite is a round bale feeder, with user-friendly maintenance and a versatile loading system with collapsible forks for safety. It can carry up to two bales at a time, and has rippers that travel over the top of the chassis to reduce component damage. The Elite was first released in May 2010, has a simple chain adjustment, and feeds out hay and silage. It is 2.3 metres wide, 4.6 metres long, 1.2 metres high, and weighs 960 kilograms.

The Pa-Mick

This machine is a hay and silage feeder that carries up to two bales of hay at a time. It can carry round and square bales, or one of each, in any order. The Pa-Mick has a curved chamber for pad feeding up to 1.2 metres high, and a versatile loading system with collapsible forks for safety. This design features an extendable chamber to accommodate bales of all sizes and a tilting chamber for greater feed control. The Pa-Mick is 2.5 metres wide, 8.1 metres long, 2.25 metres high, and weighs 2.1 tonnes.

The Albybone

Our Albybone machines are able to carry up to six square or five round bales at a time. This design features a curved chamber for pad feeding, and an extendable chamber to accommodate all bales. It has an independent tandem rocker system and can be used for carting in. As standard, the Albybone is 2.5 metres wide, 8.1 metres long, 2.25 metres high, and weighs 2.1 tonnes, however, we can create larger machines built to order.

About WMI

WMI was founded by father and son team Wayne and Jason Willie in April 2009, when the pair took over Carroll’s Manufacturing Industries. Previously, Jason had completed his apprenticeship in engineering and fabrication with Carroll’s, where he was heavily involved in the design and production of the Pa-Mick and Albybone bale feeders, along with a range of other machinery. WMI predominantly manufacturers feeders, but we can also produce a range of general fabrication projects. Our machines are now sold by dealers throughout Australia, including in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia.

We produce high-quality products and aim to ensure customer satisfaction in doing so. Our machinery is built tough to withstand harsh Aussie farm conditions, and we use simple designs combined with quality welding. One testament of the quality of our products lies in the fact that the first machine we ever made is still running strong after 17 years! We love receiving customer feedback about our products, and use it both to improve our designs (where possible), and when designing new machines.
