Why use a bale feeder?
Bale feeders can be a great way to transport multiple bales of hay at once, providing convenient feeding for horses. They can be attached to the back of suitable farm machinery for easy transportation, meaning all you need to do is load them up, drive them to the desired location, and then collect them once they have served their purpose.
Our square bale hay feeders for horses
We have two feeders that can hold square bales: the Pa-Mick and the Albybone. These two bale feeders can hold both square and round bales, and can be great for feeding horses on a property. They can be towed behind a tractor or other piece of suitable farm machinery, for easy relocation.
The Albybone is another model of ours that comes in two sizes. Option one is the 6-bale Albybone, which can hold up to 6 square or 5 round bales, in any order. Option two is the 8-bale Albybone which can fit 8 square or 7 round bales, in any order. Our Albybone model has a double chassis and a curved chamber for pad feeding. It has a high ground clearance, independent tandem rocker system, and can be used for carting in. The Albybone also has an extendable chamber which allows it to accommodate all bales. Read more about the Albybone here.
For those after a smaller product capable of feeding out both large round bales and large square bales, there’s the Pa-Mick. We like to think of the Pa-Mick as the most versatile feeder on the market. The Pa-Mick can carry up to two bales at once, a square and a round bale, in any order. The specially-designed curved chamber allows for feed pads up to 1.2 metres. The Pa-Mick can be used for carting in, and has an independent tandem rocker system. Read more about the Pa-Mick here.

Round bale feeders for horses
If you are looking for a horse round bale feeder for sale, we have a few options available. Our two feeders that can accommodate just round bales are the Pa-Mick and the Champion. If you want to feed your horses using round bales, exclusively, then take a look at the bale feeders below!
Built to carry large, round bales, our Champion model is a robust product with user friendly maintenance. There are two versions of the Champion available, a 4-bale option (that can hold up to 4 round bales), and a 6-bale option (capable of holding up to 6 round bales). This feeder has an independent tandem rocker system, plus a simple chain adjustment and high ground clearance. It also has a versatile loading system with collapsible forks for safety. Read more about the Champion here.
Capable of carrying up to two big round bales at once, the Elite is a round bale feeder with user friendly maintenance. It’s the smallest of our feeders, weighing in at just 960 kilograms, and has a versatile loading system with collapsible forks for safety. It has rippers that travel over the top of the chassis to reduce component damage, and high ground clearance. Read more about the Elite here.
